Raymond James is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to spearhead delivery of a critical portfolio of enterprise applications within our digital documentation and workflow automation platform. As a Manager of the Software Engineering team, you'll own the delivery of multiple applications that clients and advisors depend on every day, including mission critical systems that are foundational to firm’s operations. This position is accountable for a suite of applications spanning digital form automation, electronic signature workflows, brokerage back-office processing, and the Service Center - a centralized dashboard for managing approvals and operational activity. This leader will partner closely with business stakeholders to shape and execute a strategic and tactical delivery roadmap. The total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions. What you'll bring
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant experience in management or leadership experience.
- Must have management experience leading geographically dispersed teams, coordinating development activities across organizational lines, and successfully delivering applications with medium to large complexities.
- Managing resource allocations and budget to ensure resources are most efficiently utilized.
- Experience managing technical resources to deliver software projects both vendor purchased and in-house developed.
- Working with vendors for software solutions.
- Experience implementing scalable, distributed and highly responsive financial applications using Angular, Java, REST/Micro Services, .NET, SQL (Microsoft and Oracle), and related technologies.
- Agile methodologies.
- Possess highly effective written and oral communication
