About the role

You will be responsible for working with mechanical teams in all phases of our design cycles, from concept development through design, development, building and test.

• The Radar Mechanical Design Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of some of the most innovative land-based and shipboard radars in the world.
• This includes phased array radar systems, electronic modules, pedestals, and power and cooling systems.
• The department comprises individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware design, integration, and production support.
• Raytheon is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support our radar development programs.
• Key requirements for this position include proven problem-solving skills and experience in hardware design and integration, engineering analysis, and mechanical drawing creation with military hardware.
• Individuals will interface and collaborate primarily with other engineering disciplines, as well as operations, systems, quality and program offices.
