About the role

As an Electrical Engineer on our team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across the full hardware development lifecycle, supporting digital electronic modules and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) for missile applications.

• Raytheon’s Hardware Electrical Engineering team designs, validates, qualifies, and supports production of digital electronic circuit cards and electronic units used in demanding aerospace and defense applications.
• Our hardware is designed to perform in some of the most extreme environments imaginable—from the freezing vacuum of space to the intense heat of the desert and the pressures of the ocean depths.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Professional experience with digital circuit design.
• Experience in taking a hardware design from concept, requirements, or block diagram through development, verification, testing, and system integration.
• Analyzing existing designs, troubleshooting hardware failures, and identifying root causes.
• Digital electronics and mixed-signal electronics, including RF, analog, and power interfaces.
• Digital electronics simulation and analysis tools.
• Processors, FPGAs, memory, and high-speed or industry-standard interfaces.
• Working with sub-tier suppliers to resolve technical and production challenges.
