About the role
ENSCO is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to support environmental compliance, occupational safety, emergency management, and regulatory compliance programs at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC). Reporting to the Manager of Safety, Health, Environmental & Emergency Services, this position serves as a Hazardous Materials Emergency Responder and Hazardous Waste Technician while supporting OSHA, environmental, and railroad safety programs. The incumbent will work independently to administer compliance programs, conduct inspections and investigations, coordinate corrective actions, maintain regulatory records, support emergency response, and deliver EHS training to employees, contractors, and customers. - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, or related discipline.
- Equivalent education, certifications, military service, and directly related experience may be substituted. • CHMM, CSP, ASP, REM, or similar certification. • Experience supporting FRA, DOT, or other Federal contracts. • Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems. • Emergency management and Incident Command System experience.
