About the role

We have an immediate opening for a Property Tax Consultant to support both our property tax consulting practice and our growing incentive and abatement work with counties, school districts, and corporate clients. This is a relationship-forward role where professionalism, trust, and genuine people skills matter just as much as technical knowledge. As a core team member, you'll lead client engagements across our incentive/abatement and property tax consulting practices.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Public Administration, or a related field
• Strong communication and public speaking skills — you're comfortable in a room with elected officials, clients, or county appraisers and can represent our work clearly and professionally
• Genuine relationship-building ability — you're the kind of person who earns trust over time and enjoys working with diverse stakeholders
• Solid Excel skills
• comfort working with financial data, building summaries, and organizing information clearly
• Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable — clients and teammates can count on you to follow through
• Comfortable with travel for meetings, hearings, and site visits
• A collaborative, professional mindset — you approach situations with curiosity and a willingness to learn, not with a combative or aggressive posture
• Some background in property tax, real estate valuation, appraisal, government relations, or economic development is preferred — but we're open to candidates who are eager to learn and develop in the field
