Piper Fire Protection’s Sarasota, FL branch is seeking an experienced Fire Suppression Technician to join our team. This role involves installation, service, and inspection of fire suppression systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and delivering exceptional customer service.

What you'll bring

• Familiarity with fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, Florida Fire Prevention Code, and local building codes.
• Proven experience in the Installation of Fire Suppression systems.
• Proficiency with computers and smart devices, including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Apple iOS, and Google Android.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including holding a valid driver’s license and maintaining an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Field positions may involve heavy lifting, working in varying climates (including outdoor conditions), construction or low-voltage environments, and exposure to dust, noise, or confined spaces.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
• Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Route experience and a sales background are a strong plus.
