About the role

The E lectrical Engineer I supports the electrical team in the design and development of building systems under the guidance of the Manager of Electrical Engineering and project leadership. This role contributes to developing Revit models and construction documents, while assisting with coordination, technical documentation, and construction administration activities throughout all phases of a project.

What you'll bring

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of experience in the electrical engineering field.
• Knowledge of the basic principles of e lectrical engineering.
• Experience with BIM software
• Experience with AutoCAD software.
• Experience with specification software
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, NewForma or similar.
• Knowledge of Building, Energy and E lectrical codes
• Knowledge of modern building construction methods and materials and of the preparation of specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, including ability to present to others in small and large group formats.
• Excellent project management skills, with ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities effectively, while delivering quality work on time.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a priority on cost effectiveness and client satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s Degree and IE certification preferred.
