This role supports the spa’s mission by building relationships with new and returning clients, promoting services and retail offerings, and enhancing the connection between in-spa treatments and at-home care. Schedule & Compensation • Position: Seasonal - Summer Help • Availability: Evenings, weekends, and holidays (Saturdays required) • Compensation: 25%–28% commission + 20% auto gratuity Job Summary Contribute to the spa team’s success by consistently delivering high-quality massage services. Support company goals through client retention, service enhancements, retail recommendations, and guest education, while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. People & Professional Skills • Maintain a pleasant, nurturing, and client-focused approach • Communicate professionally and respectfully with guests and team members • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to service excellence • Exhibit reliability, self-motivation, and teamwork • Uphold a polished, professional appearance in accordance with spa standards • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and professional development Guest Experience • Create a serene, safe, and welcoming environment • Assess client needs and customize each service accordingly • Address guest concerns with professionalism and care • Continuously improve service quality through feedback and self-assessment • Communicate guest feedback to management as appropriate Massage Therapy & Spa Operations • Perform a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and prenatal, within scope of practice • Evaluate client needs, health history, and contraindications prior to treatment • Customize sessions to relieve tension, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness • Educate guests on the benefits of massage and recommend treatment plans and at-home care • Maintain knowledge of spa services, products, and industry trends • Promote and sell retail products and additional services • Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes • Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and compliant with state regulations • Assist with inventory management for massage supplies and linens • Communicate effectively with the Spa Manager regarding ideas or concerns • Complete additional duties as assigned Education & Experience • Valid Wisconsin Massage Therapy License required • CPR/AED certification preferred • 1–2 years of spa or wellness experience preferred • Strong knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and physiology
