About the role
The Condition Monitoring Engineer or Vibration Technical Specialist is part of the Service Delivery Office (SDO) and responsible for providing technical support to the service organization in the life cycle (Initiation, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Closing) of John Crane’s Asset Condition Management projects across the region. They will consult with the customer to identify needs to manage their assets condition, and work alongside the business development team to develop aligned value propositions. They will manage the execution of each project, working alongside the Contract Manager, on-site teams and local sales teams.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in vibration analysis for condition monitoring of rotating equipment (pumps, compressors).
- Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 2, or equivalent certification required.
- Languages: English (other languages beneficial).
- Candidates must have the ability to travel up to 40% of the time within the US, Canada and Caribbean regions.
- Ability to get a TWIC card.
- Must be a permanent US resident or US citizen to be considered for this role.
- Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 3 a big plus.
- Specialist skills in Lubrication Analysis ISO 18436-4 Category 2, or equivalent and CMRP / ARPE preferred.
- Experience working in a diverse environment with a global company is a plus.
