About the role

As Journey Nursing Services continues to expand throughout Washington State, we are seeking compassionate and skilled  Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)  to join our growing Private Duty Nursing team. As a  Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) , you will provide compassionate, one-on-one skilled nursing care for medically complex pediatric and adult patients across a variety of community-based settings, including:

What you'll bring

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong assessment and clinical skills appropriate to your scope of practice
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if assigned to multiple patient locations)
• New graduate nurses are encouraged to apply.
• One (1) year of nursing experience
• Private Duty Nursing, Home Health, Home Care, or Hospice experience
• Experience caring for medically complex pediatric and/or adult patients
• Experience with ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, peritoneal dialysis, TPN, or other advanced skilled nursing interventions
• Comprehensive training, mentorship, and ongoing clinical support are provided.
