About the role
We are hiring skilled Electricians to join SpaceXAI’s internal construction and electrical teams supporting the rapid build-out of our data centers. This is a traveling role—you will mobilize with project teams to active construction sites, install and commission mission-critical electrical systems, and move with the work as new facilities come online. You will work on high-voltage and medium-voltage power distribution, backup power systems, grounding, lighting, and process power in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where uptime and safety are paramount. This hands-on position is ideal for experienced electricians who thrive in industrial or data-center settings, enjoy project-based travel, and want to contribute directly to groundbreaking AI infrastructure.
What you'll bring
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in industrial, commercial, or mission-critical electrical work.
- Proficiency with test equipment (multimeters, meggers, power quality analyzers, etc.).
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Current OSHA 10/30 training and strong safety mindset.
- Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent).
- Experience with data center or hyperscale power infrastructure (redundant UPS, generators, busway systems).
- Prior work on large-scale, multi-site construction projects that required frequent travel.
- NETA certification, NICET, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PLC/controls, SCADA, or variable frequency drives.
