Position Summary: We are looking for a Pre-Authorization/Surgery Scheduler specialist.
What you'll bring
- Successful candidate must maintain a professional image in the office and in all communications.
- Must be able to multi-task while maintaining good patient and staff relations and provide excellent customer service.
- Qualifications: Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate professionally both in written and verbal form.
- 2+ years' experience in medical office front desk and billing practices preferred. -Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes, familiarity with third party private payor practices, and pre-certification and authorization requirements.
- Experience with electronic medical systems is a plus.
- Individual must have stringent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and be able to follow through on all tasks.
