About the role

Niyam is seeking an experienced Senior Data Visualization & Analytics Specialist to support one of our federal clients. This role is responsible for managing the development of analytical products from data collection, cleaning, and preparation through dashboard development, reporting, and visual storytelling using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

What you'll bring

• US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Ability to work onsite at client location in Springfield, VA.
• Demonstrated experience in creating insightful and visually compelling dashboards and analytical reports that effectively communicate complex data to various audiences.
• Demonstrated expert proficiency with one or more leading business intelligence and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and structuring complex datasets.
• Experience with data preparation, including cleaning and transforming raw data for analysis, is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze datasets to identify significant trends, patterns, and correlations, and to translate these findings into actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated communication skills, with experience working directly with stakeholders and leadership to gather requirements, define KPIs, and present data-driven recommendations.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Demonstrated specialized experience with the NGA and/or other IC Agency missions and communications policies.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles and utilization for Data Visualization and Analytics.
