About the role

WGL – Gas Transmission Engineer (Level II, III or IV) Washington Gas has an immediate need for a Transmission Engineer to provide design and engineering support for the Engineering group and Gas Transportation.   Civil Engineering is highly preferred.  **Washington Gas will hire at Level II, III or IV depending on the candidate's experience #LI-DG1

What you'll bring

• A general knowledge of related engineering disciplines and applicable codes and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Proven ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office, for data management, research, analysis, and reporting purposes.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the natural gas or related industry required.
• 3+ Years in the natural gas industry or related industry is required
• Engineer-in-training (EIT) Certification is required, or
• "Project Management Professional" (PMP) Certification required
• 5+ years in the natural gas industry or related industry is required
• GTI CGTP for Transmission Certification is required
