Company Description Job Description Business Analyst - Utilities sector Excellent opportunity to work on a 6 month project with in a Consultancies project management team. Location:- St Albans Duration:- 6 months Day rate:- £350 - £400 per day - Monday to Friday Duties and Responsibilities: Working in a project team within a client's organisation, looking at the process mapping and stakeholder engagement between the team and client. Looking to drive process improvement though data analysis. Focused around utility connections and the process from application to planning award and project start on site. Day to day activities could include: • Support & business partner operational teams through value-add analysis of data, creation and supply of reports. • Preparation of weekly data including analytical context and trend analysis • Preparation of costing reports and input to Management Accounts, providing detailed commentary and understanding of the drivers and levers. • Involved with identifing and changing processes to improve the businesses performance • Guide different business units to understand and use different reports to help drive efficiencies and business growth. • Continuously looking for improvements to developing reporting, transactions and systems. Directionally tasked to improve time efficiency and lead productivity savings This role provides a high level of autonomy and interaction with many key stakeholders {Site Leadership team, Central Accounting teams, Customers and onsite Operational teams}. Required experience: • Utilities experience would be ideal or from a Water, Gas, Power, Energy, Telecoms background • Previous project experience as a Business analyst as you will be hitting the ground running on a contract basis. You must be living and eligible to work in the UK to be suitable for this position.
