About the role
AccuWeather is looking for an experienced software developer to support the modernization of our core forecast processing systems and methodologies, including the visualization of weather information. This role will help lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of software that processes real-time weather content and model data used within AccuWeather’s suite of innovative consumer and enterprise products. This position will work cross-functionally with multiple development teams, senior leadership, and other groups in an Agile-based development environment. This hands-on position requires broad competence and technical knowledge of data processing and representation tools. Candidates should also have experience with cloud computing; Azure certification is a plus. A suitable candidate will also possess a deep knowledge of multiple scripting languages, relational databases, and complex file and data structures.
