About the role

EQT is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our engineering platform team in Stockholm. This is a hands-on role for an experienced engineer who enjoys building reliable platforms, working closely with teams, and driving long-term impact. In this role, you will work across EQT’s engineering platform and lead the design and delivery of key platform initiatives. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to drive adoption, improve reliability, and enhance the developer experience.

• Experience as a senior Platform, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Proven experience leading platform projects from concept through to production.
• Hands-on experience running Kubernetes production environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms
• Experience with infrastructure as code
• Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD workflows.
• Tech Stack / Environment: GCP, GKE, ArgoCD, Gatekeeper, Cilium, Terraform, CircleCI, GitHub, Cloudflare, Datadog, incident.io, Snowflake, DBT, Hex, Go, Python, Next.js
• Experience with platform security.
• Knowledge of authentication and identity systems.
• Strong networking knowledge across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
