About the role
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce & MuleSoft Architect (all genders) to translate complex requirements into scalable, secure and performant end-to-end architectures. You will provide technical leadership to teams, define architecture standards and oversee implementation across multiple clouds. You design integrations (REST/SOAP, platform events/eventing, MuleSoft Anypoint) as well as data models, performance and scaling concepts. You lead cross-functional teams (consulting, dev, QA) professionally, coach developers/consultants and accompany code/config reviews.
What you'll bring
- 7+ years of professional experience in the Salesforce environment, including 3+ years in an architecture or lead role.
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Multi-Cloud (at least Sales & Service) as well as integration with MuleSoft and data architecture.
- Sound knowledge of security & identity (SSO, OAuth, Auth.
- Flows, Shield/PLS) and limit/performance optimisation.
- Confident in Apex, LWC and flows, test strategies (unit/integration), CI/CD and version management.
- excellent communication and presentation skills in German (C1+).
- Leadership experience in managing and developing teams - with or without disciplinary responsibility.
- Must have: At least 4 relevant Salesforce certifications in the areas of Application- or Systemarchitect and at least 2 MuleSoft certifications (1 of which needs to be an Architect certification)
- Ideally, you have at least 7 years of both Salesforce and MuleSoft experience (3+ of which in an architecture/lead role), fluent German (C1+) and proven lateral leadership experience.
- Experience in Automotive Sales & Marketing is a plus.
- Nice to have: ≥4 years of experience in Automotive Sales & Marketing projects (OEM/Importer/Trade), certifications such as System/Application Architect, on the CTA path, as well as Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud/OmniStudio.
