About the role

The Certified M e dical Assistant is responsible for gathering and documenting patient screening data, obtaining vitals, preparing charts, drawing labs, maintaining their area, assisting providers, and other various activities needed to ensure patient care is prioritized. This role provides patients with safe, quality care throughout their treatment and disease process.

What you'll bring

• The CMA must ensure that a nurse or provider has assessed the patient and given direct instruction prior to the administration of shots.
• High school or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of medical experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of health care field and medical specialty.
• Knowledge of specific assistance tasks related to a particular medical specialty.
• Knowledge of information that must be conveyed to patients and families.
