About the role

Lift Mechanics at Arapahoe Basin   are   responsible for the maintenance of all aerial tramways and surface lift equipment during our winter and summer seasons. Responsibilities include being on site to   assist   other staff members with any lift issues as they arise as well as performing regularly scheduled maintenance and reporting on all aerial tramways and surface lifts   in accordance with   state and federal guidelines. What you'll bring

• Haul Rope
• 1 year of   previous   lift operations or lift maintenance experience –   required
• Ability and knowledge to   operate   basic hand and power tools
• Ability to   identify   all lift components and understand their purpose
• Knowledge of proper rigging procedures
• Basic math skills to apply the concepts of algebra and geometry to lift   maintenance-related duties
• Must provide own ski equipment
• Must be available weekends and some holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass certified climber training
• Possess an understanding of the Lift Access Work Order System
• Demonstrate the ability to make and fill out both unscheduled and scheduled 250, 500, 750, etc.
