About the role

We are seeking a skilled, hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is a full-time position with a regular schedule of 40+ hours per week , including opportunities for overtime. The position follows a 4-day workweek (four 10-hour shifts) with rotating Saturday morning coverage. As an Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing the equipment that keeps our industrial laundry operation running at peak performance. You'll perform preventive maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.

What you'll bring

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Equivalent hands-on experience will be considered.
  • 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including AC/DC motors, motor controls, VFDs, control panels, and 480V three-phase electrical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining PLC-controlled equipment, with the ability to read and interpret ladder logic.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed air, and boiler systems.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and NFPA 70E electrical safety standards.
  • Must possess strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Associate degree, technical diploma, or trade certification in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
