About the role
The Technology Delivery Lead is responsible for taking Focus Partners Australia's (FPA) technology and business projects from plan to landed outcome. This is an autonomous hands-on delivery role. This role is accountable for establishing a lean project management discipline and run projects properly with a clear plan, defined ownership, sensible governance and adoption built in from day one. Implementing structure so that our initiatives deliver real value rather than stalling after go-live. With a significant pipeline of work to deliver across the Accounting, Credit and Wealth service lines, the role will support projects across all three. Critically this role blends delivery leadership with business analysis. You will both shape requirements and drive delivery, working closely with the Head of Technology and Data, internal and external stakeholders. The role owns the delivery discipline that makes projects succeed, and partners closely with Operations on change and adoption.
What you'll bring
- Capture and document business requirements by working directly with teams across the service lines, including advisers, client services, operations and support functions
- Map current state and future state processes, identify pain points and pinpoint the specific opportunities to improve, automate or simplify
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria for internal and vendor build
- Minimum 8+ years in a delivery, project management or hybrid BA and delivery role
- Demonstrable experience delivering technology or process projects end to end, from requirements through to adoption
- Strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process mapping and UAT coordination
- Experience coordinating external delivery partners and vendors against a scope of work
- Experience with delivery tooling and artefacts (project plans, RAID logs, action trackers, status reporting)
- Exposure to advice, accounting or credit processes and related platforms is a strong advantage
- A doer who takes ownership and lands outcomes, not just someone who documents and hands off
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to build relationships, ask the right questions and push politely to get results
- Comfortable blending delivery leadership with hands on business analysis in a lean team
