We also ranked in the top #3 on the 2024 Australian Financial Review BOSS Best Places to Work Banking, As a platform Engineer, you will bridge the gap between software development and infrastructure system operations to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our engineering platforms. This is a highly technical, hands-on role where you will focus on building out our infrastructure, refining CI/CD pipelines, and establishing robust monitoring systems to support our fast-paced deployments. You will play a crucial part in optimizing our databases and supporting our modern event-driven architecture, enabling our engineering teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently and securely.
What you'll bring
- This Person Is Someone With…
- Strong software development background, with at least 3years of experience in hybrid Software Engineering and DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) roles.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React, alongside a strong familiarity with modern event-driven microservice architectures.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines and creating comprehensive infrastructure monitoring systems.
- Hands-on experience in Docker.
- Proven experience in database performance monitoring and optimizations, specifically with hands-on expertise in MongoDB and Postgres cluster management query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with AWS infrastructure as an excellent add-on.
- An eagerness to learn MLOps principles and a strong desire to help build out new production-level AI infrastructures.
- Kubernetes management experience is highly preferred.
