About the role

We are looking for a motivated Professional Structural Engineer to join our Buildings & Places Structures team in Sydney. You'll work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of building projects across aviation, sport, culture and entertainment, education, healthcare and transport infrastructure. As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable structural solutions while continuing to develop your technical capability on complex and rewarding projects.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Around 2–5 years' experience in structural engineering
• Experience contributing to structural design projects within a consulting environment.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as SpaceGass, ETABS, RAPT and Structural Toolkit.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
• A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving and delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.
• You will have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
• The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you.
• Experience with SAP2000, RAM, IdeaStatiCa or Grasshopper will be viewed favourably.
• Given the nature of our projects, Australian Citizenship is highly preferred.
• ideally with exposure to building structures.
