This role will be based in Central Valley, CA, area and support our customers throughout the territory.

What you'll bring

• HS Diploma required
• Mechanical aptitude is a must
• experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.
• This position requires daily travel to customer sites, typically within a 2-hour radius of the home office.
• On average, 65-75% of weekly travel will include overnight stays.
• Occasional travel to other states within the region is expected, with trips lasting up to one week at a time.
• Dedicated support staff to assist you in helping your customers.

• The  Field Service Technician I  is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, performing preventive maintenance, routine repairs, and calibrating and verifying Hach devices at our customer sites.
• The customer base for this role is anticipated to be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants).
