About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boiler/Hydronics Service Technician. This position will be responsible for performing boiler inspections and maintenance, as well as working on hydronics systems, cooling towers, and pumps. An ideal candidate will be customer service oriented and work well with others. Position requires a high level of correspondence with Project Managers, Service Coordinators and customers.

What you'll bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must have current Boiler certification and OSHA 10 Training, plus 1-5 years’ experience working as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)
• Electrical knowledge required
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties
• Will be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites on a daily basis.
• EPA Certification (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.), plus 2-3 years boiler maintenance and repair experience preferred
