About the role
The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering value-based solutions. This role focuses on selling products and services to commercial and industrial customers while supporting revenue and profitability goals. This position is required to be within 100 miles of the Thomasville, NC location to be onsite every other Monday and as needed monthly for Safety meetings. Preferred locations include Raleigh, Charlotte, or the surrounding areas.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to read and interpret business and technical documents
- Basic math skills (discounts, percentages, commissions)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience
- Experience with CRM systems
- Background in chemical, industrial, or technical sales
