About the role
The Senior Indirect Sourcing Specialist support end-to-end sourcing processes across the LATAM region for Supply Chain categories, including transportation, warehousing, and trade compliance, while contributing to global or special initiatives as needed. As part of a global Indirect Sourcing team, it will report into a new LATAM Sr. Manager position that reports into the Director, Strategic Sourcing, based in the US. The successful candidate will work in strong partnership with Medtronic’s Supply Chain Deliver stakeholders and will directly contribute to our company mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. The candidate can be working in a flex work model in Colombia, Puerto Rico, Brazil and Mexico. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
What you'll bring

- Bachelor’s degree
- Five years of relevant experience in Logistics Sourcing or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Sourcing
- Prior experience in Supply Chain & Logistics or Logistics Sourcing
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong negotiating skills and training
- Knowledge using MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT)
- Strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of working in FDA regulated industries
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA)
- Understanding of underlying economics of Supply Chain and Proficient in MS Excel and PowerBI
- Experience working with ERP systems
