This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound calls, scheduling appointments, and providing accurate information to patients regarding medical services and procedures. The Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients, helping to create a welcoming and professional environment that supports patient satisfaction and operational efficiency.

What you'll bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or call center role
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Preferred skills like bilingual communication enhance the ability to serve a diverse patient population and improve overall patient satisfaction.
  • Certification as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Administrative Assistant.
  • Experience working with HIPAA compliance and patient privacy regulations.
  • Familiarity with insurance verification and billing processes.
  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the United States.
  • Experience in a fast-paced medical call center environment.
  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
