About the role
The Engineering Rapid Build Services department is seeking a Planning Production Control Specialist (PCS) who will work with multiple organizations and roles to manage and forecast the procurement deliveries, hurdles, and material receipt for engineering electrical and mechanical hardware builds and capital purchases. The PCS will monitor and expedite Supply Chain activities associated with the fabrication of prototype assemblies. The Engineering Rapid Build Services department is seeking a Planning Production Control Specialist (PCS) who will work with multiple organizations and roles to manage and forecast the procurement deliveries, hurdles, and material receipt for engineering electrical and mechanical hardware builds and capital purchases. The PCS will monitor and expedite Supply Chain activities associated with the fabrication of prototype assemblies. This position includes generating and monitoring the progression of multiple requisitions through the procurement cycle, facilitating resolution of procurement issues, and insuring items are delivered to meet customers’ schedules. The PCS will continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities and report this information to multiple requesting organizations.
What you'll bring
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
- Previous experience with material planning, scheduling or forecasting
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date.
- Experience with Material Requirements Planning System (MRP)
- Familiarity with Contractor Acquired Material (CAM) policies and requirements
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
