About the role
CFC Recycling Inc. is seeking an experienced, safety-focused, and results-driven Metal Shredder Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our metal shredding facility. This position is responsible for supervising shredder personnel, ensuring safe and efficient production, maximizing equipment uptime, maintaining product quality, and promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
What you'll bring
- Strong mechancical aptitude regarding heavy industrial machinery(shredders,shears,conveyors,hydraulic systems,electric components and controls )
- Experience with operating and maintaining heavy equipment(wheel loaders,skid steers,forklifts and material handlers)
- Ability to work Monday-Friday and on Saturdays as needed based on company needs and demands.
- 2 or more years in a leadership or supervisor role required
- High School Diploma, Ged or 2-5 years experience in metal recycling or a similar production field required
- Ability to work outside in all weather related elements
- Ability to work around loud noises,smells,dirt,dust,fumes,
- Recent experience leading a team of operators and workers
- Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
