The ProSidian Team works to provide expert level Information Technology (IT) Quality Assurance (QA) consulting services supporting a full cross-agency “business transformation” initiatives intended to achieve the mission of keeping citizens in the state safe and working. The business transformation (BT) calls for modernizing the agency's extensive technology infrastructure and corresponding business processes over several years. The client is starting with people and processes – ensuring the best way to do business and collectively understand business priorities and customers’ expectations. Then, they will invest in new technology to support those process improvements and achieve stated goals and objectives. Navigating the agency's technology maze is challenging for its employees. It complicates the training process and makes it difficult for them to deliver high-quality, effective service to their customers. Many applications are independent and don’t communicate information between each other. Over the next several years, L&I will modernize technology across the Dept., which will take place in phases. Key focus areas shall be The current workers’ compensation system; L&I’s Insurance System (LINIIS) is an application comprised of many sub- systems and used to process and manage workers’ compensation claims; Organized Information Online (ORION) is an integrated document management (IDM) and business process management (BPM) workflow application where the work is managed; Early Claims Solutions (ECS) is an application used by both claims and employer services staff; Independent Medical Examination (IME) application; Medical Information Payment System (MIPS); Benefit Payment System (BPS), and Pension Payment System (PPS); and VOC-LINK is an application for private vocational rehabilitation providers. Software Test Engineer Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and Lead/manage a team of Software Test Engineers or Software QA Engineers while working with solution development teams. Possesses high technical competence, track record of strong coding and technical accomplishment. 5+ years of development or testing management experience. Experience in building testing frameworks and in test automation. Strong project management skills. Proven track record for high quality product delivery. Able to mentor junior members, give technical advice and direction, and provide hands-on management. Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches. BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

• The Software Test Engineer shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email

• Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
• The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
• A bachelor’s degree is required with at least three years work experience in accounting, budget execution, IT, financial system requirements and analysis, financial planning and reporting, auditing, and internal financial controls.
• Business Tools –   understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office.

• The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
