About the role
As the Operations Shift Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing and leading daily operations and ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently, while driving a continuous improvement culture. This role involves leading a team in achieving high performing results in Safety, Quality, Service, Performance, and People objectives.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's Degree related to the fields of Engineering, Business, and Manufacturing.
- Minimum number of years(s) of experience required in leu of Bachelor’s Degree
- 6 years of food or beverage manufacturing experience
- 4 years of experience supervising manufacturing teams.
- Experience effectively leading a team environment
- skilled with translating concepts into concrete examples.
- Experience with operating a wide range of food processing equipment
- knowledge of SQF and quality standards and requirements.
- Has a cross-functional understanding of maintenance practices and techniques
- good understanding of SPC and associated tools.
- Covers weekends as needed to support 24/7 operations.
- Work Schedule: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
