About the role
The Business Loan Consultant (BLC) is responsible for managing all loan sizes, both inbound opportunities working directly with Business Owners and existing referral partners to drive deal conversion. This role works closely with brokers, and referral partners to ensure a smooth and efficient loan origination process. The Business Loan Consultant serves as a key point of contact for incoming deals, helping evaluate opportunities, gather required documentation, and move transactions forward. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys both relationship management and deal execution. What you'll bring
- 2 to 5 years of experience in lending, banking, sales support, or financial services
- Working knowledge of small business lending and loan structures
- Ability to fully analyze, structure and package credit transactions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage a high-volume pipeline with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to move deals forward proactively
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with CRM systems preferred
- SBA experience preferred
