About the role
This role exists to build PLC/Ignition capability in the Umatilla, OR area to support data center work and ongoing service needs. The technician works independently in the field, handling commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting without relying on outside support. This role ensures projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards. It also establishes a consistent local presence to reduce travel dependency and support long-term work in the region.
What you'll bring
- Strong hands-on experience with PLC systems
- Experience with or ability to work in Ignition environments
- Proven ability to independently execute commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting in live environments
- Ability and willingness to be located within driving distance of Umatilla
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field-based work
- At least 8-10 years of experience working in data center or other mission-critical environments
