About the role
This position functions in the Engineering department with emphasis on supporting all Product Engineering and Project Management related activities for multiple connector product families. The products are used in multiple and different military, aerospace and subsea applications. All product lines are focused on harsh environments for electro-mechanical equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position will independently support and direct a broad range of product design activities related to the several different product families. The Product Engineer will have the responsibility for all technical project activities including high–level design concepts as well as detailed design. They will coordinate project with the manufacturing team which includes leading a project team that will address design, quality, safety, manufacturability issues as well as cost reduction projects.
