About the role
The Residence Director is a full-time, live-in professional staff member appointed to a three-year limited-term position and responsible for the overall administration of one to seven residence halls. The Residence Director supervises undergraduate and graduate Resident Assistants and fosters a healthy living and learning environment through programming, counseling, facilities management, staff supervision, policy implementation, and administrative responsibilities. At the conclusion of the initial three-year term, the Residential Center may, at its discretion, offer a one-year renewal based on organizational needs, available resources, and satisfactory performance. Renewal beyond the initial term is not guaranteed, as the position is designed to provide a meaningful, time-limited professional experience without entitlement to continued employment beyond the stated term. The Residence Director is a live-on position with a 1-2 bedroom, fully furnished apartment, full meal plan, comprehensive partner, and pet policies. What you'll bring

- Effective communication skills, including cross-cultural communication skills, and experience or interest in working and programming with diverse populations.
- Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field or a bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of professional residence life experience is required.
