About the role
Harsco is looking for an experienced CNC Mechanical and Electrical Technician responsible for performing general and complex repairs on CNC-controlled and PLC-controlled machines. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise, including the ability to read and interpret mechanical prints and electrical schematics. Technically sound, with hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC and manual machines, PLC’S, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
What you'll bring
- Education • (Associate's degree)/2 years of Electrical Trade School.
- Military Naval/ Air Force Electrical schooling and Training.
- Must be familiar with standard shop math
- Experience • 7-10 years of troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machines with live tooling..
- 10+ years’ experience with Haas, Doosan, and/or Mazak machines.
- 5+ years of general industrial maintenance and repair experience.
- Education or Experience
- 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Relevant electrician certification or license.
- Familiar with the National Electric Code.
- Doosan/Mazak/Haas School or Training
- Interpersonal Skills • Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
