About the role

Wilson & Company is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Project Manager to help lead and grow our municipal engineering practice in Wichita, KS. The position will be primarily focused on municipal roadways, highways, parks , and neighborhood drainage projects. You will work closely with clients, other project managers, and support staff to ensure the successful completion of projects.

What you'll bring

• Effective communication skills - both verbal and written.
• Broad understanding of required engineering principles.
• Skilled in project management, managing technical professionals, and demonstrated ability to lead and direct multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure quality management with implementation of quality control standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Kansas or the ability to obtain within 4 months.
• 6+ years’ experience in the design of municipal infrastructure.
• Knowledgeable of and experienced with federal, state, and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects.
• Specific experience with winning and executing projects for municipalities related to streets, sidewalks/trails, and/or utility improvements is preferred.
