About the role

The Quality Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing Quality Control and Assurance activities and Quality Inspectors. This role will promote quality-at-source, lead containment actions, guide production cells in corrective & preventive actions, and support Winnipeg vehicle production plant. The role also drives continuous improvement through the development, implementation, and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and Standard Work.

What you'll bring

  • 7 - 10+ years of experience in complex manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control, audits, assurance, root cause investigations and preventive actions.
  • 3 - 5+ years of experience in a quality inspection staff management position.
  • 2+ years of experience in interpreting CMM inspection outputs, interpreting FPI / X-ray / Mag-particle / other NDI outputs.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measurement and inspection equipment, including calipers, verniers, micrometers, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), optical scopes, torque tools, and non-destructive inspection (NDI) instruments
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, mine, analyze, interpret, and summarize quality data to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation to identify critical-to-quality requirements and ensure product conformance.
  • Support production requirements by working afternoon shifts (12:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.), with flexibility to work alternate shifts and overtime, including Saturdays, as required.
