About the role

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our family team of over 42 years. This position is for permanent and full-time employment to work within the state of Massachusetts. This position is primarily field-based and requires travel to customer locations, construction sites, commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and other job sites to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems.

What you'll bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Systems Technician license required (Class D electrical)
  • Working knowledge of commercial fire alarm systems.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and fire alarm plans.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency using tablets or mobile service software.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Understand and apply routine verbal and/or written instructions, understand and apply non-routine verbal and/or written instructions, understand complex problems and collaborate to explore alternative solutions, organize actions to complete sequential and/or routine tasks, organize and prioritize individual work schedule to manage multiple clients, tasks, and/or projects, organize and prioritize the work schedules of others to manage multiple clients, tasks and/or projects, make decisions that have an impact on the individual’s work, make decisions that have an impact on the immediate work unit’s operations and/or services, make decisions that have significant impact on a department’s credibility, operations, and/or services, make decisions that have an impact on the health and wellbeing of clients, communicate and exchange routine/basic information.
  • Minimum of 2 years of fire alarm inspection or service experience is preferred.
  • MA Journeyman Electrical license preferred.
