About the role
We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to help integrate our automation workstation based high throughput protein production, purification and screening platform with an existing informatics program. Responsible for providing technical support in the creation and the development of new medical device products (invasive and non-invasive). Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. 1. Identifies and initiates programs which result in innovative application of existing or new products or technologies. 2. Conduct experiments and/or develop strategies for consideration that extend beyond known scientific and engineering precedents.
What you'll bring
- BS or MS in scientific discipline such as medical technology or computer science.
- A demonstrated track record of impact through automation.
- Direct experience in the utilization or creation of an informatics system in a drug discovery environment is required
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Direct experience with the creation of automation workflows utilizing Hamilton and Tecan equipment is preferred.
- experience using Genedata Biologics is preferred.
