About the role
We are seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney to join our powerhouse MedMal Litigation team to work out of either our Philadelphia or Pittsburgh office. As a Litigation Associate Attorney you will work closely with our talented attorneys providing support before, during and after trials.
What you'll bring
- Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices, etc
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Associate and Juris Doctorate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 1+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience in Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, General Liability, or other injury related practice areas. (preferred)
- Experience with Medical Malpractice Plaintiff Actions is a plus
- Federal Judicial Clerkship is a plus
