About the role
Provide direct nursing services, mental health assessments, and treatment to the people we serve with severe and persistent mental illness. You will obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment. The Walk-In Crisis Center is open 24/7/365 and provides in-person mental health crisis care, information and referrals right when you need it the most. WellPower's Crisis Services is wanting a Nurse who is looking for a full-time swing position and would like some flexibility around their schedule. This position provides a unique opportunity to work full-time between two crisis programs, the Denver Walk-In Crisis Center and the Behavioral Health Solutions Center.
What you'll bring
- Graduation from accredited school of nursing.
- Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
- 1-3 years of experience working with patients
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
- License must be in good standing.
- Minimum two years nursing experience
- a serious and persistent mental illness ( preferred).
- experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinic ( preferred).
