About the role

The Staff Nurse (LPN) is responsible for operating within scope of practice to coordinate care delivery interventions for approximately 25 residents in assigned area in accordance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, community policies and procedures, and local, state and federal regulations.Essential Functions Statement(s)

What you'll bring

• Must obtain and maintain mandatory, state and federal requirements and certifications for practice or occupation
• Must be CPR certified
• Must be familiar with/able to use the following equipment: WiFis, pagers, point click care, computer, sit to stand, hoyer, gait belt
• Must be able to read, write, understand and speak the English language
• Must be able to work with elderly residents, families and other health care staff members
• Must be able to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in the United Church Homes Employee Handbook.
• Computer Skills: Must be able to operate a computer, the Internet and knowledge of basic office equipment preferred
