About the role
This role is responsible for managing procurement activities supporting major CAPEX investments, plant expansion initiatives, and industrial equipment projects across North America. The successful candidate will lead sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost management activities while partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Industrial Project teams. The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous procurement professional with strong experience in industrial equipment purchasing, project-based sourcing, supplier negotiations, and capital expenditure management within a manufacturing environment.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, CAPEX Procurement, or Industrial Project environments.
- The successful candidate will lead sourcing, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and cost management activities while partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and Industrial Project teams.
- The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous procurement professional with strong experience in industrial equipment purchasing, project-based sourcing, supplier negotiations, and capital expenditure management within a manufacturing environment.
- 8+ years of purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement experience
- Significant experience supporting CAPEX and industrial investment projects
- Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience
- Proven project management capabilities
- Experience collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams
- Strong cost analysis and commercial evaluation skills
- Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to create and deliver executive-level presentations
