About the role
Why Join Us? We are looking for talented and highly-motivated individuals who demonstrate a natural desire to support the meaningful work of community oncologists and the patients we serve. SCOPE: Assist Registered Nurse/Radiation Oncologist with daily clinic responsibilities. This includes obtaining patient medical information from various medical facilities and the patient to ensure a complete and accurate medical record. Schedules and coordinates appointments for special procedures and other testing. Obtains vital signs and completes nursing assessments for all patient visits.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CMA (certified medical assistant) certification required from a national testing agency (NHA, NCCT, AAMA, NAHP etc.)
- BLS CPR certification required
- Assisting in a clinic for 2 years or more preferred
- Oncology clinic experience highly preferred
