About the role
Travel: Yes, this role requires regular travel to our Palm Harbor, Largo, and Brooksville locations. The Mohs Medical Assistant supports the Mohs Surgeon and Dermatologists in delivering high-quality patient care while contributing to efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience. This role requires strong clinical skills, professionalism, adaptability, teamwork, and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical dermatology environment. Mohs Medical Assistants are expected to actively contribute to surgical workflow, maintain professionalism under pressure, communicate effectively with patients and coworkers, and support overall operational success. This position requires travel between assigned clinic locations in coordination with the Mohs Surgeon’s schedule
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong customer service and communication skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Ability to travel between clinic locations regularly
- Medical Assistant diploma/certification preferred
- Dermatology and/or surgical assisting experience preferred, but not required
- Experience with EMR systems and medical office workflows preferred
