About the role
You will be providing DocGo services in Greater Los Angeles by monitoring and providing directed treatment common to complex injuries and illnesses. Each day, you will drive to patients’ homes to provide patient care. While at a patient’s home, engage in guided assessments and provide treatment under the supervision of an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for patients facing barriers to accessing the traditional healthcare system Throughout the treatment process, maintain patient medical records and documentation consistent with state regulations, DocGo standards, and policy through our EMR system You will be practicing under direction with synchronous telemedicine support
What you'll bring
- Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day per week.
- Must have one of the following certifications: MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA. (Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant).
- V alid Driver's License in state of residency with 2+ years of driving experience, and an acceptable driving record
- Must have minimum 2 years of recent in-person experience as a MA, CMA, CCMA, or RMA in an Urgent Care, Primary Care, or related setting
- Phlebotomy experience
- Active and current American Heart Association BLS
- Clinical work experience with pediatrics
