About the role
VCSG is looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Medical Oncology Team! We’re looking for someone compassionate, sensitive, patient with clients, and who loves to make a difference. Our ideal candidate is empathetic and can calmly discuss topics with pet parents – this is a high-touch position with extensive client interaction that makes the difference. As an oncology technician, you will work alongside experienced Medical Oncologists and other compassionate veterinary professionals, playing a vital role in diagnosing and treating cancer using advanced tools such as ultrasound, biopsies, cytology, and radiology, while administering or assisting with chemotherapy and palliative treatments to help our patients live their best lives. As a member of the Oncology team, you will play a vital role in supporting pets and their parents through their cancer journey. Your responsibilities will include:
